A Rich History With Humble Beginnings

Superior Vision Center was established in the 1940’s by Dr. Robert Luksin, inventor of Luksin’s Crutch which was a device that would keep a patient’s eye opened when the eyelid muscles could no longer work. He appeared on Ripley’s “Believe It Or Not” in 1945. The business has now been open for over 60 years. Although his invention is no longer being used today, he has made a lasting impact on our neighborhood through leaving this legacy behind.

About Our Store
